# Premium

Premium funds the development of Keyguard. This page lists the builds that need it, what it unlocks, the purchase options, and why Keyguard is a commercial app.

## Features

| Feature | Without premium | With premium |
| - | - | - |
| Accounts | One account | [Multiple accounts](https://keyguard.dev/docs/multi-account/) |
| Vault changes | View only | Add, edit and delete items, sends and other vault data, including saving from autofill and creating passkeys |

Everything else works without premium, including search, autofill, Watchtower, backups and export.

## Purchase options

Buy premium in **Settings > Keyguard Premium**, or buy a lifetime license on the [Purchase](https://keyguard.dev/purchase/) page when web checkout is available.

| Option | Details |
| - | - |
| Subscription | Buy in the app. On Google Play, choose 3 months or 1 year. A free trial may be available for a first subscription. |
| Lifetime | A single one-time purchase in the app or through Paddle on the website. Web purchases provide a license key. |

To manage or cancel a subscription, open **Settings > Keyguard Premium** and select **Manage on Play Store**.

To use a web purchase, or a Google Play purchase on another Google account, see [License keys](https://keyguard.dev/docs/license-keys/).

## Why Keyguard is commercial

Keyguard is built by one developer, Artem Chepurnyi. Premium pays for the time that maintenance and new features take. The source code is public, so anyone can review it. It isn’t open source, though: the license reserves all rights, so nobody can publish a copy with the paywall removed.
