# Report a vulnerability

To report a security vulnerability in Keyguard, email it privately instead of filing a public issue. Other bugs go to the [GitHub issue tracker](https://github.com/AChep/keyguard-app/issues).

## Send a report

Address: `keyguard@artemchep.com`.\
Subject: `[Security Vulnerability] <TITLE>`.\
Body: Describe the steps to reproduce the vulnerability and its possible impact.

*Optionally* encrypt the email with the PGP key [`0x18E5090AEF7FB228A18DBD2FFAC37D0CF674043E`](https://keys.openpgp.org/search?q=18E5090AEF7FB228A18DBD2FFAC37D0CF674043E). Keyguard provides the [GPG tools](https://keyguard.dev/docs/gpg-tools/) that encrypt the message.

The maintainer usually responds within 48 hours and makes every effort to quickly resolve the issue.
