Terms of service
Last updated
Keyguard is a commercial password manager developed and provided by Artem Chepurnyi, Lviv, Ukraine. These terms cover Keyguard and purchases from this website. Contact keyguard@artemchep.com for product questions or support.
Keyguard Premium
Premium unlocks the functionality described on the Premium page. Features and purchase options vary between platforms and distributions.
A website purchase provides a lifetime Premium license key for compatible Keyguard builds. The current activation instructions on the Purchase page apply to Google Play builds. Check compatibility before buying.
A lifetime license has no scheduled expiry and requires no renewal payments. It does not promise every future product, feature or platform, or development and support for an unlimited period. Your rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
Payment and delivery
Website purchases use Paddle as the merchant of record and authorized reseller. Your payment is also governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms applicable to your transaction. Paddle shows the final price, currency and applicable taxes before payment.
The website offers a one-time purchase, with no recurring charge. Purchases through another store or provider remain subject to that provider’s purchase terms.
After Paddle confirms payment, your license key appears on the checkout page. Keep the tab open, then copy or download the key and save it securely. The key is not sent by email. If delivery fails or you lose the key, contact keyguard@artemchep.com with your Paddle receipt.
License activation
Follow License keys to activate your purchase. Keep the key private: possession of it allows activation of its Premium entitlement.
Lifetime keys can be validated on your device without an internet connection. Online checks can update the license status, including after a refund or payment reversal. See the Refund policy.
Your vault and connected services
You choose the accounts and storage services Keyguard connects to. Those services have their own terms and availability. Keyguard does not operate a vault synchronization service.
Keep your passwords, recovery information and backups secure. The developer cannot recover an app password or data that only you control. The Privacy policy explains how Keyguard handles information.
Intellectual property
Keyguard’s source code is public for inspection. It is proprietary software with all rights reserved. Purchasing Premium grants access to its functionality; it does not transfer ownership of Keyguard or grant permission to redistribute its code or application. Third-party components retain their respective licenses. This does not restrict permissions required by law.
Support and your rights
For a missing key or a technical problem, contact keyguard@artemchep.com. For a payment or refund request, contact Paddle support.
Nothing in these terms removes consumer rights or remedies that apply by law. Updated terms will carry a new date; posting an update does not by itself remove rights attached to an earlier purchase.
